Helicopters in Tourism
The impact of aviation on the tourism sector is undeniable. Over the past century,
aviation has evolved from a niche activity into a massive global industry, serving the
travel needs of billions of people. While the bulk of this traffic is managed by
airlines, whose primary role is to safely and comfortably transport large groups of
passengers, there are many other opportunities within aviation that cater to different
travel experiences.
Becoming an airline pilot often involves a long and costly journey. However, there are
alternative paths along the way, one of which could involve enhancing tourists'
experiences by offering them the chance to see the sights from a completely new
perspective.

For instance, a canyon is an awe-inspiring sight from the rim, but to fully appreciate
its grandeur, you need to see it from above. To truly experience the natural wonder
that created it, the best option is to enter it, and the most exciting way to do this
is by helicopter.
Helicopters enable tourists to explore more and experience things they might not be
able to any other way. As a pilot, you’ll play a key role in helping people make the
most of their travels, offering them unique, unforgettable experiences.
Requirements & Duties:
This is one of the easiest rotaryt wing jobs to qualify for. To start, you'll need a
commercial pilot license (CPL) with appropriate endorsements, plus good knowledge of
destinations tourists like to visit. In some jurisdictions you may require to be a
licensed tour guide as well.
It's not essential for this role, but the more different languages you can speak,
the better your chances are for getting hired (and you'll be better able to serve the
needs of your passengers).
